Baldwin County Monthly Housing Report: March 2018

ROBERTSDALE, Alabama – April 9, 2018 – “Grab it while you can,” is the name of the real estate game in Baldwin County. The shortage of properties remains compared to the number of qualified buyers. It’s certainly a seller’s market.

The total amount of residential active inventory was 3.253. 635 properties were sold last month, a decrease of 19% from 780 properties sold in March 2017.

Properties are staying the market for less days from 2017: decreasing 32% from 149 days last year to 101 days March 2018.

March total sales decreased 14% this year, $179,033,795, from $208,587,256 in March 2017.

The average sales prices of residential properties in Baldwin County continue to creep up. Last year, the average sales price was $267,419, and this year, $281,942.
