Baldwin County Monthly Housing Report: April 2018

ROBERTSDALE, Alabama – May 9, 2018 – If you’re thinking about selling your home, now’s the time in Baldwin County. The shortage of properties remains compared to the number of qualified buyers.

 

The total amount of residential active inventory was 3,217. 704 properties were sold last month, an increase of 12.5% from 626 properties sold in April 2017.

Properties are staying the market for less days from 2017: decreasing 42% from 147 days last year to 85 days in April 2018.

April total residential sales increase 27% this year, $210,397,481 from $165,473,678 in April 2017.

The average sales prices of residential properties in Baldwin County continue to creep up. Last year, the average sales price was $264,334, and this year, $298,860.
