Baldwin County Monthly Housing Report: August 2018

ROBERTSDALE, Alabama – Sept. 7, 2018 – The numbers may show a slight dip from last year’s stats, but there’s no doubt home sales are moving at a rapid pace across all areas of Baldwin County. Home inventory remains slim, and people are continuing to make Baldwin County home.

The total amount of residential active inventory in August 2018 was 3,107.

731 properties were sold last month, slightly down from August 2017: 745.

Properties are staying the market for less days from 2017: decreasing 58% from 165 days last year to 91 days in August 2018.

August total sales volume decreased 5% this year, $219,756,666, from $230,233,798 in August 2017.

The average sales prices of residential properties in Baldwin County this month decreased 3% from 2017. Last year, the average sales price was $309,038, and this year, $300,624.
